Other things I've realized: Shaq and Mark Cuban are two of the most interesting tweeters that I follow. Apparently the 7-foot-1, 325-lb center wants to be an underwear model, while the Mavs owner knows more about financial markets than most who are still in the finance world. It makes you wonder how much better off the world would be if he still worked in the business world more than just owning the team and being chairman of HDNet.
Charlie Villanueva could be an amazingly successful basketball player if he took all his time tweeting and used it to improve his basketball skills. I mean, he's a great ball player, but if he spent more time on the court and less time tweeting, he would be even better on the court.
Nevertheless, I think it's incredible how much he seems to care about replying to every single tweet he receives from fans and other tweeters.
Dwight Howard, well, he just seems to use his twitter feed to promote his blog. I don't think there's anything wrong with that actually, because the blog allows for more thought out writings and the length of tweets is perfect for directing people elsewhere to a blog or news article. I think this is, in the end, what twitter is best used for.
I still want to discuss with all of them their true thoughts about twitter and why they use it as much or as little as they do. I also want to ask Mark Cuban about his fine and Charlie Villanueva about his coach's ban on tweeting.
